SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEK – MONTHLY COLLECTION
Our church’s ability to pay the bills, make repairs and keep up our buildings is completely dependant on God’s grace, your prayers, time and donations. May God bless everyone who supports our church!
SECOND COLLECTION NEXT WEEK – COOP MISSION SUNDAY
We are pleased to have with us next weekend and ask you to welcome Father John Kolodziel OSFS in his appeal for the work of the Oblates of Saint Francis De Sales in their missionary area. Please be as generous as you can for the appeal. Some give to the missions by going and some go to the missions by giving. God Bless you!!
PRAYERS REQUESTS
Please pray for our sick and all the faithful departed and all who have gone home to the Lord and all who have worked & supported St Ladislaus Parish in the past 103 years.
MASSES IN CHURCH BASEMENT THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER
Beginning Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday July 4th ALL Masses will be held in the Church Basement until and including Labor Day Weekend. This is done so that we can enjoy Masses in Air Conditioning. Many thanks for your cooperation.
ATTENTION ALL LECTORS AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
The new schedules for the months of August and September are in the process of being assembled. Would you kindly give the dates that you will NOT BE AVAILABLE NOT LATER THAN Friday, July 16th. The schedules will be available on Saturday and Sunday, July 17th and 18th. Thank you for your cooperation.
DON’T FOPRGET YOUR PARISH DURING THE SUMMER
As you take your time for vacation, please don’t forget your parish which has to operate even when your not here. We still have bills to pay so make sure you make up your weekly envelopes either before you go or when you get back. Many thanks and God Bless.
FATHER BALINT IS AT QUEEN OF THE CLERGY HOME TO RECUPERATE
As we announced last Weekend following Father Balint’s surgery he has chosen to take some time away from the parish for his recuperation. He is residing for the next several weeks at the Catherine Dennis Keefe, Queen of the Clergy Home in Stamford at 274 Strawberry Hill Road and his Room number is 108 A if you wish to send Father a card.
11:15 AM SUNDAY MASS IS CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Because Father Balint is not with us there is no one able to celebrate the Sunday Hungarian Mass. Therefore until we know when Father will be retuning we will have to cancel the 11:15 am Mass. Please let the people who come once in a while know so they don’t come and expect a Mass to be celebrated.
HOLY FATHER’S JULY INTENTION
That the election of officials in all nations may be carried out with justice, transparency, and honesty, respecting the free decisions of citizens.

FOR THE FUNNY BONE
Two men bearing identical names, one a clergyman and the other a businessman, lived in the same city. The clergyman died at about the time the businessman took a trip to Southern California. Upon reaching the Pacific Coast he sent his wife a telegram informing her of his safe journey. Unfortunately the message was delivered to the widow of the clergyman. Imagine the surprise of the good woman when she read “Arrived safely ----- heat terrific.”
